Someone I know is in need of a job. I know a job is a job and work is work. But the friend I know wants to work in is enjoyable. That being said someone once told me of career tests. You answer a cluster of questions and the results tell you what catagories might suit you best. For example your results will show you the top four possibilities i.e. accountant, recipenist, gardener, managment etc.
Then the next thing is to look on websites like monster.com and look for a job in the career (part time) of your choice.
I'm lost on google - so many websites on free career tests, most asking for payments to see your results or ask for personal info (like name, address, city/state and phone number even a email address.) and I'm looking for a solid website that doesn't ask for personal info or to pay for results for a career test.
I remember taking one of these in college and my results were to assist people. When I started volunteering in different outlets in the community I started working with those who were developmentally disabled in a workshop setting. I loved this area but the fact is there aren't many workshop areas for those with disabilities in the area I want to persue in. But my friend on the other hand has no clue on what is a best choice.
Can anyone help me?
I'm not sure of any. But when she's ready, monster is a good one to post a resume. I've heard some good results with it.
Troy
I actually copied this information from my college website. I hope some of the links here would be helpful to all.
